Halifax Residences
Halifax is a great place to live in. It's replete with museums that nourish the mind, renowned schools that help build careers, entertainment that pleases the senses, parks that sooth busy lives, cuisine that whets the appetite, shops that gratify our desires. All of these can be found in a city that's not too crowded with people, as is the case with other locales.
There are many residential communities for you to choose from. For example, if you're new to Halifax, Clayton Park might fill your needs -- it has a large number of high density apartment complexes and condominiums that are popular with new arrivals. Clayton Park also boasts of one of Halifax' highest population densities and ethnic diversity.
Other residential neighborhoods include Armdale (which offers small apartment buildings), Spryfield (which has new and established subdivisions), and Boulderwood and Jollimore (both residential subdivisions).
You might also be interested in university residences. The renowned Dalhousie University, Mount Saint Vincent University, Saint Mary's University, and University of King's College all offer accomodations.
Also, the neighbourhoods around these institutions offer a lot of apartments; however, as we can expect the prices of these residences have been rising in recent years. A good alternative is the city's North End, which has cheaper accomodations. This makes the area popular with students, painters, musicians, and writers. So if you're the artistic type, North End apartments might be your best bet.
