Fredericton Retail

 

Fredericton is home to an eclectic array of shopping venues, from malls to small boutiques, meaning everybody's tastes and spending powers are accommodated!

The city has three main shopping centres:

  • Downtown Fredericton -- Encompasses an area of 16 city blocks boasting over 120 stores and 28 visitor attractions. The general Downtown shopping hours are from 9am to 5pm or 9pm, depending on the day of the week.
  • Up Town -- The area around Prospect Street and Bishop Drive is Fredericton's major commercial area, where the popular Regent Mall can be found.
  • Main Street -- The city's Northside has over 180 businesses for antiques, home improvement, fashions, supermarkets, and more. Some of the chains found here are Walmart, Home Hardware, and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Before we forget, the Boyce Farmer's market is a popular shopping destination where farmers, artisans, and craftsmen sell a wide range of fresh vegetables, bread, sweets, meat, poultry, crafts, flowers, and more.
