About us
Maple Square was back in the late nineties the Canada's first internet directory with the highest quality of Canadian websites. As Canadian AOL.ca has written about it in the press release from June 29, 1998:
"Maple Square has been selected by AOL Canada to assist in identifying unique Canadian content for its launch of AOL Canada NetFind. This partnership will make the interactive experience even easier and more convenient for AOL Canada members and Internet users.
......
Maple Square (www.maplesquare.com) is the recently announced spin-off Internet content and consulting company of aTerra Technologies Corporation. Maple Square created Canada's first national Internet directory in 1996 and has since focused on creating quality award winning Canadian content. Online services include LCS Guide to Hockey, The Canuck Site of the Day, and Gulf Islands Online."
Now in 2007, after more than 5 years of blackout, few enthusiasts bought the website and are willing to gain the Maple Square's popularity back. Maple Square is coming back to the Canadian and worldwide audience as a guide to Canada. Its goal is to provide a comprehensive guide to the Canadian cities for travellers-foreigners but for Canada residents as well.
Maple Square's guide to Canada is improving and adding content on daily basis, so even if you did not find an information about Canada now, look back for it later. Or just let us know.
